St. Mary Parish Community
Westphalia is a close-knit community with much to offer to
its' inhabitants. Many community activities and programs
involve the church, which is a center of the community.
Father Cecilio's Angels is a motorcycle group whose members
meet and go riding throughout the area. The Christian
Mothers and Women's Guild promotes and sponsors events that
will build spiritual growth of the parish family. The
Knights of Columbus are dedicated to promoting the concepts
of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism in the
community. The Westphalia Fireman are a huge part of the
parish community and hold many events with the church.
Westphalia offers Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts for the youth
of the community.
The 4th of July Festival is one of the highlights of the
year. The Festival brings the community together for
numerous activities to celebrate. The picnic would not be
successful without the dedication of the whole parish
family. Many hours are put in before and after the picnic by
behind the scene parishioners. This is a lot of work and
would not be possible without the 4th of July Festival
Committee.
